Returns and Refund Policy

The ARTHUR AVELLANO online store is operated by SYNMATERIA.

Right of Withdrawal

You have 14 calendar days from the day following receipt of your item to inform us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase, without having to provide any reason.

If an order is delivered in several shipments, the withdrawal period begins upon receipt of the final item.

If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or non-working day, it will be extended until the next working day.

You then have 14 days from the date of your notification to return the relevant items to us.

How to Make a Return

To inform us of your decision to withdraw, please contact contact@arthuravellano.com or send a written statement to the address below.

You may use the withdrawal form provided at the end of this policy, but this is not mandatory.

Please include your order number, where possible, to help us process your return. Exercising your right of withdrawal does not require our prior approval.

For returns due to a change of mind, the direct cost of returning the goods is your responsibility. We do not provide free return labels.

Please package items carefully. We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of shipment.

For returns from countries outside the European Union, please contact us for the relevant customs instructions, without exceeding the applicable return deadline.

Condition of Returned Items

You may carefully inspect and try on your item in order to assess its characteristics and size, as you would in a physical store.

Please return any accessories supplied and, where possible, the original tags and packaging. The absence of the original packaging alone is not sufficient to exclude your right of withdrawal.

Any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect and try on the item may result in a proportionate and justified deduction from your refund. Any such deduction will be explained to you.

Latex garments must be handled with care and in accordance with the fitting and care instructions provided.

Samples and Sale Items

Samples and sale items are subject to the same withdrawal conditions.

Samples may show specific characteristics or signs of wear described on their product page. Their condition upon return will be assessed against their condition at the time of delivery.

The sale of an item as a sample or at a reduced price does not affect your statutory rights.

Personalised and Made-to-Measure Items

The right of withdrawal for change of mind does not apply to items made according to your individual specifications or clearly personalised.

This exclusion does not automatically apply to an item made after ordering in a standard size or standard colour.

Your statutory rights remain applicable to these items.

Damage, Defects and Order Errors

If your item arrives damaged, is defective or does not correspond to your order, please contact contact@arthuravellano.com.

Your order number and photographs may help us assess the issue.

We will offer an appropriate solution in accordance with the applicable statutory guarantees. Return costs relating to a defect covered by those guarantees or to an error on our part will be covered by us.

The 14-day withdrawal period does not limit your rights under statutory guarantees.

Exchanges

If you would like a different size or another item, you may return the item in accordance with the conditions above and place a new order.

The availability of a replacement is not guaranteed, particularly for samples and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Refunds

We will issue your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to withdraw.

However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned items or until you provide proof that the items have been shipped back, whichever occurs first.

If you return the entire order, the original standard delivery charges will also be refunded. Any additional cost resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless you expressly agree to another method, and no refund fee will be charged.

Your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.

Statutory Rights

This policy applies to purchases made by consumers.

It does not limit any mandatory rights or any more favourable protections provided under applicable law.
